Oh. My. Goodness. Where do I even begin with these two and their stunning intimate wedding at the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies?
If you recognize their faces, you may have seen the wrap-up post of my favorites from their Rocky Mountain National Park engagement session last fall (on the same date their wedding was scheduled for!). We chatted last year about how we were really hoping for the perfect amount of autumn colors for their outdoor wedding in Aspen, and it turned out to be stunning!
Despite some cold fronts coming through beforehand, the aspen trees held out long enough for their wedding day to be filled with tons of golden yellow light and leaves. I’ll be reminiscing on their wedding portraits for months, if not years down the road.
Aside from Roger’s panda/heart-eyed blindfold and his adorable first look reaction to the way they couldn’t stop laughing; from the intimate ceremony on Hallam Lake to their kids being their officiants (and writing the words to the ceremony themselves!), there was SO much adore about all of this day. It was genuine and full of true love. Everything an intimate wedding should be.
