Last year, we captured Julia + Nate’s wedding highlight film (which you can check out on our Youtube here) for their big day here in Colorado. During a recent trip of ours to visit a friend in Reno, Nevada, we met up with them for a sunrise morning session in Donner Lake, since they live nearby in northern California. It’s a beautiful smaller lake, just north of Lake Tahoe and close to Truckee.
Despite the haze and smoke from the wildfires growing rapidly across California, we had a beautiful morning capturing some additional wedding portraits near the water – and now I can’t wait to go back! And of course, we also had a few silly moments because Nate is just that kind of goofball 😉
