Hey there, I’m Kaitlyn

Over the last decade of documenting 200+ couples on their elopement and wedding days, and having planned a wedding of my own, I’ve witnessed and experienced first-hand just how easy it is to get sucked into the wedding planning that becomes less about you and more about everyone else.

I’m not only an introvert through-and-through, but I also struggle with anxiety on a daily basis, so I personally understand how overwhelming planning even a small 20-person wedding or a “just us” elopement day can feel. I’ve learned that I have a knack for being the calm, welcoming, and intuitive energy couples didn’t even realize they needed.

We believe the experience you get with your photo and video team goes far beyond the products you get after your elopement or wedding day has come and gone. It’s about trust, excitement, and pure joy – before, during, and after your wedding day.

We take on a very limited number of clients per year, so reach out as soon as possible to secure your dream date with us.

This is a great question for our initial phone call, since we can help guide you once we know more about where you want to go, how many guests you’ll bring (if any), and/or any other activities you want to do during your day. Typically, most of our couples start with 6-8 hours, and you can always add on additional time after booking.

Our goal is always to help you celebrate a day with plenty of time, so you aren’t feeling stressed, rushed, or “on the clock.” We want you to look back on this day for years to come and remember how amazing, fun, and easy going it was from start to finish.

The best time to book our team for your wedding or elopement day is as soon as you have a date or general timeframe in mind. We often get booked anywhere between 3-12 months out, especially for popular dates during summer and fall. We are also often the first vendor (or only vendor!) couples reach out to, since we guide them with location options, vendor recommendations, and a whole lot more.

Absolutely. While many of the more secluded locations offer privacy for those willing to hike a few miles or more, there are dozens of easy-to-access locations across the U.S. that still make for fantastic backdrops. However, the easier spot it is to access, the more crowded it is likely to be. This is why we highly recommend that most of our couples elope on weekdays and/or early mornings if possible. And in case it helps, you can always opt for something else to help you get to a more private location (think: boat, plane, helicopter, 4×4 vehicle, etc.).

Of course! If you have more than 10 people in your group, we do require some form of reserved space somewhere, whether that be a venue, a rental home, national/state/city park, etc. We can also help you find dog-friendly locations, too!

YES, YES, YES! All of our team members are 100% supportive of any and all LGBTQ+ couples. We’re also a member of Equally Wed and LGBTQ I Do, and wholeheartedly believe love is love is love.

We are fully insured and can provide a copy of our insurance documents to wedding venues, national and state parks, or other locations should they require it. 

We also have a few annual permits for locations we commonly visit throughout the year, and can easily obtain a photo/video permit for your individual date and location if need be, at absolutely no additional cost to you.
