With everything going on during this pandemic, traditional weddings have become even more complicated and stressful than usual. Although big weddings are a great fit for some couples, they aren’t for everyone. And it’s exciting to see the increase in awareness about elopements!
Maya and Zachary wanted something more intimate for their destination elopement here in Colorado. Although we first discussed some locations in Boulder for their big day, the current status in the area left us with fewer choices since a few parks are closed currently to weddings.
Luckily, they had already planned to have dinner with their closest friends and family at Flagstaff House Restaurant, and the restaurant was able to accommodate us on one of their balconies for Maya and Zach’s ceremony. We had beautiful views, plenty of sunshine, and lots of love.
Afterwards, we drove down the mountain to Chautauqua Park, and captured some beautiful wedding portraits of just the two of them. Here are some of my favorites from the big day!
