Ever since I captured my first underwater portrait session several years ago, I’ve been thinking of how dreamy it would be with a couple and not just one person. Once I had my recent Florida trip on the calendar, I knew I wanted to make this finally happen, and a few friends connected me with Tiffany and Daniel who were up for it!
This elopement styled shoot was taken in late January at Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Luckily, we had fairly warm temps above the water, and waited until the end to brave the cooler temperatures underneath the surface for some underwater couples photos.
Tiffany is a scuba diving instructor, so she was probably the most comfortable under the water out of the three of us. Getting underwater photos that captured just the right moments of fabric flowing and the two of them coming together wasn’t exactly easy, but we certainly made some serious magic happen, and I can’t wait to do it again someday.
