I’ve always been a sucker for autumn as it is, and with Lindsay and Alex’s fall wedding at the Greenbriar Inn this year, I was in photographer heaven. These two had the sweetest intimate first look at Coot Lake (where Alex proposed!), and all the trees and color everywhere was just perfect. It was like the best of both worlds: summer and fall together!
Their ceremony outside at Greenbriar was stunning, and although I wasn’t quick enough to capture it, even two deer strolled by before the ceremony began!
Just before sundown, we captured some serious autumn magic with the leaves in all sorts of reds, oranges, and gold. Alex even mentioned there’d be a full moon that night and thought it’d be so cool to get a picture of it if possible. Well, I had a vision, and we made it a reality! I combined two images taken that night (a dual exposure) to create a portrait of the two of them with the full moon that is now one of my all-time favorite portraits.
Your Photographer, Videographer + Collaborator
An introvert at heart, I always value real connection, stories, and conversation over surface-level interaction any day of the week.
Having documented 200+ weddings and elopements on camera over the last decade, if there’s one thing I’ve realized it’s that I have a knack for being the calm, welcoming, and intuitive energy couples didn’t even realize they needed.
So, I invite you to think about what it would feel like to be fully present, unapologetically yourselves, and care-free on your wedding day instead of worrying about what everyone else wants. And take comfort in knowing you have my full support, every step of the way.
