Although we had been snowed on in Garden of the Gods before, this was the first time we had captured an elopement as a rainstorm came through, and wow, the sky was epic!
Kassie + Michael had an intimate first look in the park with just the two of them, followed by a ceremony with their families at High Point Overlook. The rain started to come in at the tail end of their vows, but the stormy portraits are some of our favorites at this spot! And just wait until you see Kassie’s stunner of a bouquet.
They followed up the ceremony with a small reception celebration at a local coffee shop in Colorado Springs. There they had a few toasts spoken, a first dance, and some fun portraits in front of a balloon installation. It was just the kind of small wedding they were hoping for, and it was perfect.
