When I met Emily and Bryan for their hiking engagement session at Lost Lake, I just knew their intimate adventure wedding in Aspen, Colorado was going to be both beautiful and relaxing. They are such a sweet, laid-back couple, and I loved meeting their small family for the big day!
We arrived at Maroon Bells early that morning to get a few portraits before the ceremony began. It felt like we had the place to ourselves! We strolled on a hiking trail among an aspen grove, and the light hit the leaves just perfectly.
After the ceremony, they held a small brunch picnic (complete with mimosas and cheesecake!) by the creek. The tall trees and lush, mossy ground was giving me all the Pacific Northwest (PNW) vibes that I love. This whole morning felt like the best mix of peaceful, yet fun adventure for an elopement, and I can’t wait to go back again in 2020!
