When Stephanie + Tate reached out looking for the right place in the PNW to elope with snowcapped mountains, I knew the North Cascades would be the perfect fit. Although they live in Nashville and had been to the mountains in Colorado before, they wanted to celebrate their elopement day in a location that neither of them had been before, and Washington had been on their bucket list for a while.
They wanted a location with snowcapped peaks, but in summertime when the weather is warmer. They also originally planned to bring family along, but after working through some initial stages of planning together, they opted for a day of exploring just the two of them, and it was beautiful!
We first started with a few getting ready portraits at their adorable rental home near Glacier, and then we explored a few of my favorite trails near Artist Point before having their ceremony during golden hour. We topped it all off with a champagne pop and some epic sunset portraits, featuring some of the most stunning colors and jagged peaks the Cascades have to offer.
