I’ve been dreaming of taking portraits up on top of North Table Mountain near Golden, CO for quite a while! So when Jennifer and Bobby’s elopement on Independence Pass got rained out with a pretty intense thunderstorm in August, we decided to have a re-do for their wedding portraits — and North Table was the perfect spot.
The hike up the mountain isn’t that long, but it’s pretty steep. And Jennifer did the whole thing in her dress! Several people congratulated them, and said that if she could hike it in her dress, they should be able to do it in normal clothes. 🙂
The top of North Table overlooks downtown Golden, and has a bunch of really cool rock cliffs that make for dramatic portraits. It almost feels like being on top of the moon!
It’s definitely a spot I’d love to keep coming back to for sure. <3
