Oregon and the rest of the PNW (Pacific Northwest) totally stole my heart a few years back when I first visited on a solo trip during grad school. And I’ve wanted to capture some waterfall portraits ever since!
Not only was this couples session perfect timing — Kaylie and Cam were about to celebrate their anniversary only a handful of days after we met for photos — but it was so fitting since they met on a trail when they were hiking to a waterfall in Oregon! I absolutely love how it all came together, despite us getting hit with some of the mist from the waterfalls and dirty from the steep hike up near Wahkeena Falls!
Although we started to wrap up by Wahkeena, we decided to make one last stop along the scenic byway to Latourell Falls, which was SO worth it. These will definitely go down as some of my all-time favorites, and maybe someday I’ll be back for more!
