Every year, more couples get engaged between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day than the entire rest of the year. And if you’re one of them, we hope you’re getting excited about planning the day of your dreams!
But with planning and research often comes a lot of overwhelm and pressure. The sheer amount of venues, wedding vendors, research, and recommendations (not to mention pressure from friends/family) can immediately feel jarring, expensive, too traditional, or simply just inauthentic. And while wedding shows and expos can severely add to this stress, we know it’s often better to figure out which wedding shows are the best fit for you before signing up for every one out there.
That’s why we’ve researched in advance for you, to hopefully help ease some overwhelm, simplify the process, and maybe even help you find the right types of vendors you’re most interested in working with. Below is a complete list of the top wedding shows and expos in Washington state, including a brief description about each one to help you figure out which is the right fit for you.

A few quick insights to get the most out of your wedding show experience:
- Breathe + take your time! There are no rules that say you have to plan in under 9-12 months. If you want more flexibility, less pressure, and time to figure out the best fit, don’t be afraid to gather information early and take the next few months to “feel out” what’s right for you.
- Chat with vendors you relate to. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and set up a consult call with vendors you like. But also do your due diligence by reading their online reviews, too!
- Prepare in advance. Most shows offer a guide, map, or list of vendors available in advance of the show for you to prioritize meeting the vendors you most want to connect with. Bring a notepad (or make notes in your phone) to remember ideas or vendors you loved most!

Spokane wedding Expo
If you want to visit a show farther east of the Cascades, the Spokane Wedding Expo might be a great event to attend for couples getting married in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

Tacoma Wedding Show
Want vendors located farther south in Puget Sound? The Tacoma Wedding Show may be a better fit for you! This event (previously known as the South Sound Wedding Show) has been running every year for almost two decades. It focuses primarily on vendors in the South Sound region, including South King, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, and beyond.

marysville wedding show
Another wedding show focused more locally on the Marysville area is at the Marysville Opera House, a historic wedding venue showcasing several vendors from catering, florals, photography and more.

bellingham wedding show
For all couples looking to get married farther north, the Bellingham Winter Wedding Show is a good option to attend. Located at the Mount Baker Theatre each winter.

weddings in woodinville
They call this the “Ultimate Wedding Wine Tour Experience” because you not only get to tour multiple venues in Woodinville’s wine region, but you also get to experience wine tastings at each stop, complete with luxury chauffeured transportation.

the seattle wedding show
If you’re okay with large crowds and want to explore the widest range of vendors out there, the Seattle Wedding Show brings in over 5,000 attendees every year and might be a good place to start if you’re not sure what you’re looking for yet. This two-day event is the largest wedding planning show in the Pacific Northwest, run by a local organization.

LGBTQ+ Wedding expo | Rainbow Wedding Network
This seems to be the only LGBTQ+ focused wedding show in Washington (although if you know of others, we’d LOVE to know about those, too!) and run by an organization that’s been hosting these events all over the US for over 20 years.

Puyallup wedding show

Another small event in the South Sound region is featured at the Environmental Services Building (ESB) in University Place, hosted by Pierce County Parks & Recreation.

unlocked wedding show | Landmark event co.
If you’re shopping around for venues, you may quickly find that Landmark Event Co. owns some of the best wedding venues in the greater Seattle area. Each year, they host the Unlocked Wedding Show, giving couples the chance to tour several of their venues while also meeting dozens of amazing vendors.

The sustainable wedding show | Emerald Hour
Our personal favorite annual wedding show which started in 2024 is the Sustainable Wedding Show, hosted by Emerald Hour, a local organization that Skyewater Photo + Film is on the leadership team with. This event is focused at showing you a way to have a smaller footprint when it comes to hosting your wedding, and how simple swaps can make a big difference in reducing your waste and prioritizing things like beautiful local scenery and quality time with your guests.

my snohomish wedding Tour
Another great local wedding show in Washington is hosted the first weekend in June every year and features a variety of venues located in the heart of Snohomish County. Not only can you tour nearly a dozen beautiful venues, but you also get a chance to meet top-tier wedding vendors, get inspired by creative designs, and even sampling food and drinks.
