FAQs About Our Wedding Video Packages
Do you always have two videographers?
Yes! We don’t offer any options without two videographers for larger weddings with over 50 guests attending. Having two sets of eyes and hands allows us to capture a greater number of angles and moments that makes for a truly dynamic and captivating wedding film, and often allows us to even make your film longer than it would be with only one videographer. We believe all of our couples deserve to have the best very footage from their wedding day, and having two of us enables us to do just that.
How is the music selected?
While most music on the radio or in your favorite movie is not available for us to purchase a license to, we do have access to some amazing artists and music tracks. We ask each couple what genres and instruments they love (or which ones to avoid) and use this as the basis to take creative lead on a video we know you’ll love.
Is the raw video footage available for purchase?
Yes, you can purchase the raw video footage from your wedding day. Please note that these files are often extremely large, may include shaky/unusable footage, are not color-corrected or synced with professional audio, and may need professional software for viewing.
We don’t keep all raw footage beyond one year of your wedding day, so it’s best to buy this in advance of your date so we ensure you get a copy of this if it’s something you want.
Are you drone certified?
Yes, we have passed the Part 107 Remote Pilot test taken through the FAA. This is a legal requirement for any company operating drones for your wedding video, especially at commercial properties like wedding venues. While we don’t promise drone footage for everyone, we do our best to get drone footage for your wedding location when legal restrictions allow us to fly, and when weather cooperates (we cannot fly in heavy rain, snow, or high winds).
How long does it take to get our edited highlight video?
The editing process for highlight films can be longer than what it takes to get your photos back. Although our contract states a delivery window of 3-6 months after your event, most of our couples receive an edited film in less than three months after their wedding day.
Why should we hire a professional and not just a family/friend?
Sure, you can tell your cousin or college friend to snap some videos from the latest iPhone, but a great wedding video you’re going to rave about (or cry to) is about more than the quality you get from a mobile device or hobby-level camera. We not only use some of the best equipment in the industry, we also have experience working over 200 weddings, so we know all the ins and outs of communicating with vendors and working with you as a couple to capture and edit a creative wedding video.
