Just 30 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle is a stunning, yet laid back wedding venue in the winery district near Woodinville, Washington: Woodinville Lavender.

Although only open for a short season each summer when the lavender fields are in bloom, this wedding venue gets fully booked every year and is one of the best options for couples wanting large purple blooms in the backdrop for their wedding day.

It’s quickly become one of our favorite locally-owned spaces for small weddings, and it just might be perfect for your own wedding day.

Important Things To Know Before Booking This Wedding Venue

  • Planning + day of coordination is already included by Tom, the venue owner
  • LGBTQ+ supportive! We had a great queer vendor team for a former LGBTQ+ couple, and we all had a blast together.
  • Not a good fit for any group over 60 total – this is a firm maximum
  • Only available for about 10-12 total events per year (prime weekend dates when lavender is in bloom)
  • All completely outdoors, aside from restrooms and getting ready spaces (although a tent is available for covered receptions)
  • While there are a couple small getting ready spaces, we’d highly suggest considering getting ready off-site if you have a wedding party or large family with you. Space is limited and natural lighting isn’t the best, so it’s good to consider getting ready at another location nearby if getting ready photos/videos are important to you.
